Reserve 'Vivienne's Block' Riesling 2021

Harvested from the original Riesling vines that were planted by Vivienne 50 years ago the fruit for this wine was hand-picked, whole bunch pressed and fermented only with wild yeast to preserve the unique historical flavours of the fruit.

This wine has been crafted with the bare minimum of winemaking manipulation to allow the fruit to shine out in this magnificent wine. As with all of our Reserve and Estate wines the fruit was grown biodynamically and winemaking practices are also fully biodynamic using only the natural wild yeast and not adding any enzymes or other artificial additives to the wine. No filtration or fining agents* were used to ensure the delicate flavours of the variety are preserved.

*Fining agents are protein based compounds used to reduce the level of phenolics in the wine so it is vegan friendly.
