Think Crispy Dumplings, DIY Bahn Mi Bao's and Duck Curry. The cocktails are also unmissable, especially the Rhubarb + Gin Sour and the Moscow Meow.

Head into town and enjoy

Breakfast at the Produce Store

Grab a bite to eat and some delicious produce at the The Produce Store (or the 'Proddy' as the locals call it). It's the perfect place to stop for a bite to eat, a cup of coffee or a slice of home made cake. 

The Produce Stores shelves are loaded with local produce, giftwares and an extensive range of regional wines. They can also help you create your own picnic basket full of delicious goodies. 

We recommend their muffins (if you get there early enough) and their baguettes are delicious!

Walk around Mansfield

and do some shopping

at Ink Bookshop

Browse the myriad of titles in Mansfield's own bookshop. There's something here for everyone - great children's selections, latest releases, a reference section, High Country history and heaps more. 

or try your hand at a friendly game at

Mansfield Mini Golf and Donuts

Mansfield's mini-golf course is 18 holes of fun with a par 44. Suitable for all ages to have a go but you may have to help the little ones around a bit. 

After shopping why not hire an e- bike from

All Terrain Cycles

Enjoy a lovely ride on an ebike to Delatite Winery. This 45 minute bike ride is the perfect way to see the rolling hills of Mansfield and help earn the delicious food and wine at the destination!

at Delatite Winery

Start the visit with a wine tasting to help decide what wines to have with lunch before enjoying seasonal dishes using locally sourced and ethically grown ingredients.

We are obviously a bit biased but there is no better place to sit and look out at he 180 degree, uninterrupted, views of the Valley with Mt Buller in the background.

afterwards hitch a ride back to town with

Double Black Alpine

Double Black Alpine are a local company that offer transfer services for passengers, bicycles and/or luggage transfers along the GVRT or around the Mt Buller area.

So if you want to have a glass (or two) with lunch they can pick you and your bike up and deliver you wherever you need in the area.

They have a modern fleet of vehicles fitted out with comfort and convenience in mind for you and your bikes.

Finish the day with dinner at

the Mansfield Hotel

The Mansfield Hotel is at the centre of town. Built in 1862, the grand old building holds a significant place in the town’s heart as a beloved watering hole and gathering place.

The classic wrap around verandah on the historic hotel is the perfect place to people watch, while the 100-year-old Pin Oak in the courtyard provides shade and a story or two for both locals and visitors who have come to sit in the centre of Mansfield and secure a spot to rest.

Sail over the Delatite Valley with a

Hot Air Balloon Flight

Start your morning right with a sunrise hot air balloon flight over Mansfield. It is the perfect way to see Mt Buller, Lake Eildon and the stunning scenery we all love in the Delatite Valley, You might even be lucky enough to fly over our vineyard and cellar door.

Global Ballooning have been flying for over 30 years in Victoria and are amazing operators.

From May to September they also offer afternoon flights In Mansfield. It is one of the few places you can fly in the afternoon so you don't even need to get up at the crack of dawn.

The Coffee Merchant

The Mansfield Coffee Merchant (or the Merch as it is known in town) burst into Mansfield almost 10 years ago. They have now become one of the most loved cafe's in town and supply coffee around the state.

Swiftcrest Distillery Tour

Swiftcrest is an amazing local distillery who are completely off-grid and only use organise produce to make their products.

Their tour runs you through every step of making their spirits from sourcing the water to how they heat their boiler. You also get to have a guided tasting of their delicious products.

It is run most weekends from 11am - 12.30pm but be sure to book as there are only limited spots.

We are lucky enough to have them make our schnapps for us and to also serve their spirits in our dining room.

Other great activities in Mansfield

The Mansfield Zoo

The Mansfield Zoo is the perfect place to take the whole family. If you love animals then a trip to Mansfield Zoo is a must! Feed deer, kangaroo, llama and more.

They even have lion feeding at 1.30pm weekends and Victorian public and school holiday.

Watson's Trail Rides

Watson's offer a wide range of rides from 1 hour to 7 day trips. They offer rides all year long, be it in the warmth of an oilskin coat in the cool weather or enjoying relief from the heat in a high country summer.

Visit Jamieson

After you stop in at the Zoo why not take a picnic and enjoy it by the river, hire a Kayak and paddle down the river or stop in at the Jamieson Brewery in this beautiful part of the district.

The Armchair Cinema

When the heat gets too much or you want to escape the rain, the Mansfield Armchair cinema is a great place to spend a few hours with the whole family! They even have beanbags for the kids to lie on.

The Mansfield Armchair Cinemas are a unique community movie theatre, built by the community for the community and opened in 2009 and screens the latest blockbuster movies for all to enjoy.
