So, to celebrate we are hosting a party to celebrate. 

Join us under the stars, on long tables, with live music and feast all evening.

2024 Piquette Gewürztraminer

So... What is Piquette?

It has a long history during vintage in Spain, France and Italy as the drink pickers and workers enjoy on their lunch break while sitting in the vines. 

It is made from the ‘marc’ which are the left-over skins and seeds from white varieties. Normally the marc is thrown out or made into compost but this year we put the Gewurztraminer marc into an open fermenter and added water. After a week of fermenting, we finally discarded the marc and put it in tank.

It is a lower alcohol drink (we can't describe it as a wine due to labelling laws) at 5% alcohol with a lovely spritz and beautiful musk characters. Think along the lines of a sour beer.

Tickets include:

Shared Antipasto platters, roaming pizzas, lemon gelato and piquette all night long.

Any other drinks can be purchased on the night.

Chef’s selection of cured meat, homemade pickled vegetables and cheese with bread

Pizzas

Pizzas will be roaming with the following types:

- Mushroom Truffle with rocket and Parmigiano

- Prosciutto with pickled chilli, asparagus and buffalo mozzarella,

- Smoked Buxton trout, a dill cream, baby cappers and Parmigiano

- Margherita with buffalo mozzarella, basil and Parmigiano
