High Ground Pinot Noir 2016



Awarded 91 points in James Halliday’s 2016 Australian Wine Companion



This delicious Pinot is a blend of 60% of fruit sourced from various vineyards near Yea and 40% of our own bio dynamically grapes grown in the Victorian High Country.
The fruit was harvested in late February and early March and was cold soaked and fermented in small batches with 10% whole bunches to ensure great flavour intensity and good colour extraction. Following ferment it spent 9 months in older French hogsheads before minimal filtration and bottling.
Made in a softer more generous style than our Estate wine this elegant Pinot shows intense rich ripe cherry and sweet strawberry flavours with soft tannins.


FOOD Drink with venison, kangaroo, duck or simply enjoy with friends any old time.
CELLARING Can be cellared to 2021. 
Alc. 13.0%
